This Privacy Policy explains how AIGuy.ie ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data in the course of providing consulting and software services to Irish startups and SMEs. We act as a data controller for prospect and website data and as a processor when contracted by clients.
What we collect
- Contact details provided via the contact form (name, email, phone).
- Business details you share during discovery or engagement.
- Basic analytics (page views, referrers) to improve the site; no intrusive profiling.
Why we process your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide proposals (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract).
- To operate and secure the website (Article 6(1)(f) – legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations including invoicing and accounting (Article 6(1)(c)).
Retention
Prospect data is retained for up to 24 months after last contact unless you ask for deletion.
Your rights
You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability under GDPR. To exercise these rights, email bm@projects.ie.
International transfers
Where tools host data outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
